CREATE. COLLABORATE. CULTIVATE.

Join a passionate and dynamic community.

The Curriculum Writers Association of Australia (CWAA) was founded to be the bridge  between schools, publishers, EdTech, curriculum authorities, researchers, subject experts, consultants, and emerging teacher-preneurs.

CWAA understands curriculum as the intentional design of learning, and curriculum writing as a complex activity, shaped by varied perspectives and priorities and created by many hands.

The ultimate goal of all these efforts is to benefit the teaching and learning in the classroom. Yet contributors often work in parallel rather than in partnership. The result is duplicated effort, inconsistent access to quality materials, and a widening gap between research insights and classroom realities. This undermines curriculum coherence, equity and teacher confidence.
